Going Remote March 16 - April 30 + Local and Online Resources

Due to our county’s Shelter in Place policy, and in solidarity with the social distancing movement, I am conducting all consultations remotely starting March 16th until the policy has been lifted and I have enough information to safely open my doors again.

Let’s keep in touch! Current patients, I may be contacting you in the next few weeks to make sure that we are on the right track with your herbs and supplements. Most of the herbs and supplements I use in treatment plans are still in stock and are shipping out the next day. Immune support supplements may take a bit longer. We can correspond by email or by video conference. There is no charge for routine follow ups that do not require a change in treatment plan. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or to set up a consultation.

New patients, feel free to email me to set up a remote initial consultation if you wish to get started on a treatment plan in the next few weeks. There’s a lot that can be done remotely, such as beginning herbal treatment, prescribing supplements and reviewing lab work.

Feeling under the weather? One of our most powerful tools during cold and flu season is Chinese herbal therapy. Current and new patients can set up a 15-minute herbal consultation and a custom herbal blend can be shipped to your doorstep. (Current patients - $35, new patients $55). Chinese herbal therapy is not in lieu of seeking standard medical attention.

Herb Room is open. This gem of a natural pharmacy is still operating and as of three days ago, they were fully stocked with all their immune support products. Herb Room is located at 1130 Mission Street on the Westside, Santa Cruz.

Luma Yoga has gone virtual! Check out one of our local yoga studio’s online classes. Luma is offering both live-streaming and on-demand classes.

We’re in this together, just a little farther apart.

Anne Chiaramonte, MS, LAc, FABORM

Anne is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist (2004) and a board-certified fellow in acupuncture reproductive medicine (2009). Anne’s particular interest in women’s health led her to Australia to study with Jane Lyttleton, author of “Treatment of Infertility with Chinese Medicine” and to San Francisco to work with Lifang Liang, author of “Acupuncture and IVF.” In 2009, Anne became part of one of the country’s first on-site acupuncture programs at an IVF clinic, located at Pacific Fertility Center in San Francisco.

Anne founded Arrive Reproductive Medicine as a unique acupuncture practice dedicated to supporting women with cycle-related concerns, fertility challenges and burnout. When she’s not in the clinic seeing patients, you can find Anne listening to podcasts while doing water aerobics, juggling parenting responsibilities or snuggling with her two boys.
