Women's Wellness Circles- Acupuncture + Education

1/1/2020 Update: Women’s Wellness Circles are on pause while Arrive settles into our new home at 550 Water Street. Circles will resume in the Winter or Spring of 2020.

I am pleased to announce a series of workshops, or “circles,” that combine education, community and acupuncture. My monthly Women’s Wellness Circles offer education on a particular topic followed by group acupuncture, and a chance to discuss challenges and tips on incorporating healthy habits in our busy lives. The workshops will incorporate fundamental concepts from biology, functional medicine and Chinese medicine. Each workshop is limited to 6 women. (Pregnant women are welcome if they are a current patient in our practice.)

11/14/19 - Women’s Wellness Circle: Adrenal-Stress Connection

This workshop will explore the popular concept of adrenal fatigue, and the role of our stress response. Guest Presenter Jackie Miller, CHC, will cover a functional medicine perspective of our adrenals, blood sugar balance and stress. Anne Chiaramonte, L.Ac. will offer the Chinese medical perspective. The first part of the workshop is devoted to eduction and discussion, followed by group acupuncture.

TBA - Women’s Wellness Circle: Popular Diets

Guest speaker Jackie Miller, CHC, will dive into the pros and cons of popular diets such as paleo, gluten-free, low-carb and keto. The first part of the workshop is devoted to eduction and discussion, followed by group acupuncture.

TBA - Women’s Wellness Circle: Hormones

This workshop will focus on the biology of female hormones and how Chinese medicine can support specific conditions from infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) to menopause. The first part of the workshop is devoted to eduction and discussion, followed by group acupuncture.

About Anne Chiaramonte, M.S., L.Ac., FABORM: Anne’s acupuncture practice, Arrive Reproductive Medicine, is dedicated to bringing the best of ancient medicine to women’s health care. Anne developed the Women's Wellness Circles to help women build community around education and self-care.

Anne Chiaramonte, MS, LAc, FABORM

Anne is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist (2004) and a board-certified fellow in acupuncture reproductive medicine (2009). Anne’s particular interest in women’s health led her to Australia to study with Jane Lyttleton, author of “Treatment of Infertility with Chinese Medicine” and to San Francisco to work with Lifang Liang, author of “Acupuncture and IVF.” In 2009, Anne became part of one of the country’s first on-site acupuncture programs at an IVF clinic, located at Pacific Fertility Center in San Francisco.

Anne founded Arrive Reproductive Medicine as a unique acupuncture practice dedicated to supporting women with cycle-related concerns, fertility challenges and burnout. When she’s not in the clinic seeing patients, you can find Anne listening to podcasts while doing water aerobics, juggling parenting responsibilities or snuggling with her two boys.
